This session was a special one indeed. This couple has dealt with infertility for over 10 years. Finally, they were excited to be expecting twin boys due this last March. When Lindsey was just under the halfway mark of her pregnancy, she went into labor...and she delivered her sweet boys. Lindsay emailed me expressing her desire for a photo shoot that would help them find some closure and capture the end of this sad story...
There was a reverence during this shoot. As one who has suffered with infertility myself, my heart breaks for these two, but I am inspired and completely amazed at their strength. Trials like these often bring out the very best of qualities in people and bind couples together in a way that they perhaps wouldn't be. It was easy to see this during the shoot.
Lindsey, whether you see it or not, you have such graceful strength. You are completely beautiful. Ben, I can tell how much you have supported and helped your beautiful wife through all of this. There is nothing more priceless than that.
Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of this. I hope these photos will be cherished and that this was what you needed to always remember and honor your sweet Beckett and Crew.
