This Saturday is the last day of my Fall Mini Sessions. I have so enjoyed each one this year! Thank you thank you for all of the inquiries! I've met some amazing people and had a lot of fun. I'm sure I'll be doing them again.

Special Fall Discounts!

I need to raise some money for a special and very personal cause. This is where you can learn more. I'm hoping there is enough interest in these discounts to make it happen because I think it could be alot of fun!

I'm going to be offering discounted sessions one week from today, Monday October 25th, as well as this coming Saturday, October 23rd. (praying for good weather)

Here are the details:

Lehi State Street (behind Osmond Design - 151 E State St). I'm going to start Saturday at 12 noon, and Monday at 8:30am. Sessions will be scheduled every 30 minutes until dark. I'm willing to go all day so please let me know if you're interested!

1. Halloween costume sessions - $35 (1-2 children/adults) 5 custom edits of the best images. Printing rights included. I may even have treats for good "trick-or-treaters!" Inspired by this little guy.

2. Family mini sessions - $85 (up to 4 people) 10-15 custom edits of the best images on a disc. Printing rights included. This is a savings of $165! And just in time for Christmas cards!

Mine was spent with these two. Talon is perfect! He also has a perfectly protective guard dog, Brewster who was quite involved with the shoot.

This is one of the most mellow babies I've ever photographed. He was wide awake the whole time but still so cooperative. I didn't hear him cry or fuss once, which is rare for newborn shoots. I can't wait to show more, because oh my goodness, he's to die for!

This week I had the opportunity to spend a day with Andee from Crave Photography. We talked about everything...business, inspiration, perspective, experience, and lots and lots of Photoshop. She pretty much rocks. Her work is bold and colorful so I knew she'd be able to give me some good hints. She gave me much to practice and I'm excited to be better able to acheive the look of my edits that I've been wanting. I thought I'd give you a before and after. I still have a ways to go, but it's heading in the right direction. :)

These two were comfortable with the camera the minute we began our session in Salt Lake. 4 hours later in Lehi, I was knee deep in water and giddy with a camera full of beautiful images that these two let me create. I have so many favorites I wanted to share, and Chelsea and Cliff have been so patient that I had to share lots and lots. Can not wait for this wedding! Aren't they pretty? I LOVE maternity photography! Who knew?! This was my first maternity shoot and I couldn't get enough. Such a beautiful time for a woman. Here's a peek at the shoot I had this weekend.

Since this shoot I can't help myself thinking about different poses. Tyler - Oh My Heart! {Utah County Children Photography}

I just can't take it! Sweetness oozes from this little guy. Look at him! Every angle, every expression...just so precious. Even though it was a mini session of sorts, his mom finally said, "I'm satisfied" to get me to stop. It was probably a good thing. I could've kept shooting for hours. Can you really blame me though? Enjoy!

This is the last image I shot. I think this meant he was done. Look at that little tear...breaks your heart doesn't it? Whatever you know you smiled. I'm glad mom appreciates the crying pictures as much as I do. We just sat there and Oh..ed and Aw..ed during his misery. I know. Mean.

I can't wait for his sister to join him in an upcoming shoot. I'm already SO excited! Thanks Leslie! I think this last one might be my favorite. Might.

Maybe I shouldn't do that discount again...for selfish reasons. I didn't get my fill of these boys that's for sure. I can already see them in GAP Kids magazine. OH...they are SO DANG cute!

Big baby cheeks are my favorite thing in the world. The bigger the better! Emilia not only has awesome cheeks but she is such a happy baby. I'm sure it's because of her parents. They are just as happy. It was cold that day, but we had so much fun. Enjoy some of my favorites.

I think I squealed when I opened up these images. Good looking people and lighting doesn't get much better than this! I love this couple and can't wait to share more. I could've gone for hours with them, but ran out of time. Isn't she GORGEOUS??!! Yes. I think so.

I must compliment Larry. He's come a long way from the first time I took pictures of them...but I maybe have too. ;) You're a pro Larry!

I'm so excited about this! I'm proud to say that Jill Witt Photography has been asked to be featured on SimplyUT.com. Simply Utah is a new website that provides a directory for home-based businesses. The site provides businesses’ contact information, and links to websites of different vendors...and I get to be one of them! My button is on the side of the page under "Our Featured Sponsors." They also feature a business every day for giveaways and discounts so it's a great site to follow and have on your google reader.

This is HUGE! On February 6th I'll be doing

I've been playing with this idea for a while and I'm so excited to see how it goes! Here are the details:

- Groups of 4 people or less. These sessions can be individuals, couples, families, children, maternity, and seniors.

- 30 min session at any Utah County location. If there are 3 or more groups for Salt Lake County locations...let's talk!

- $50.00 fee. This includes 15-20 edited images on a disc along with personal printing rights!

That is a $100 savings!!!

These sessions will take place on Saturday the 6th throughout the day. So SPREAD THE WORD!!! Get a group of friends and neighbors. It'll be fun!...and they'll thank you.

If there are 3 or more groups that decide on a different day, we can work that out too! I'm excited for this!

2009 was a year of growth, learning, and discovery for me. Looking back I can't believe how much my images have changed and improved. I owe that to my clients, and the wonderful photographers who have mentored and helped me discover my style and in so doing fine-tune this art. I still have a long way to go with only a year under my belt, but I want to thank all of you for the opportunity. I've had so much fun with all the clients I was blessed with throughout the year. You all have inspired me! I hope to have the opportunity to capture you and your families again.

December 3, 2009 was FREEZING, but beautiful. Tiff, you are quite the trooper, and a GORGEOUS one at that! I would've whined the whole time wearing short sleeves. :) I can't wait to dive completely into this wedding.

It was beautiful to see how in love these two are. Congrats again Tiffany and Jaden! Thank you for letting me capture you and your special day.

Suprisingly it wasn't as hard as I thought to get Ollie to look at me. It was much like getting a child to look at the camera. No I'm not calling your children dogs...I'm just sayin'.
